This year, the Greg Norman Company (www.shark.com) has graciously donated funds to sponsor TWO 8th-12th grade youth to participate in the 2019 Shark Camp.  

 

Greg Norman is a legendary Australian professional golfer who spent a large portion of his career (331 weeks) as the world's #1 Official Golf Rankings ranked golfer.  Due to his relentless and aggressive golf style, size, and the large predatory sharks that patrol his native coastline, Norman earned the nickname the "Great White Shark" (or sometimes "The Shark").  Greg Norman founded the Greg Norman Company, which is a multinational private corporation that is composed of a variety of amazing and successful companies (e.g. Estates, Eyewear, Clothing).

So, with all of this successes and his passionate demeanor, we are beyond honored to get the chance to collaborate with the incredibly talented Greg Norman and his staff!  

 

Now, to be considered for this scholarship, you must fit the following criteria:

 

1. Grade:  8th-12th in Fall 2019

2. Passionate About Marine Biology (Especially Sharks)

3. Ability to Provide Transport to and from Montauk, NY

 

If you fit the above criteria, we would like you to submit up to a 1-page, double-spaced, 12-pt font essay on what this opportunity would mean to you for consideration for the Greg Norman Shark Camp Scholarship.  All submissions must be recieved by March 15th (the individual will be selcted and notified by April 15th).  Beyond the essay, please put all of your contact information on your essay document and email it to us at oseasfdn@gmail.com.
